Terms & Conditions โ Draft
ROAD 1ST must confirm the operator's full legal identity, actual processing/legal bases, precise retention periods, and privacy contact before relying on this document for GDPR or Google Play compliance.
These draft terms describe ROAD 1ST's intended private-use arrangements. They are for review before public release and do not replace the completed terms accepted by users.
What the app does
ROAD 1ST aims to reduce distracting phone use during driving while retaining access to appropriate navigation and emergency functions. It uses Android permissions, movement/speed detection and the selected blocking configuration. Protection depends on device settings, permissions and technical conditions; it is not a guarantee that every distraction will be prevented.
Driver responsibilities
Drivers must remain responsible for safe and lawful vehicle operation and must not handle the phone unsafely while driving. ROAD 1ST's estimated driving-hours and break guidance is an aid only and is not a certified tachograph or substitute for legally required tachograph records or professional transport compliance.
Private and Fleet accounts
The intended private safety service may be offered free of charge. Fleet-managed restrictions and records apply only where the driver is enrolled and Fleet Mode is active under the employer's separate terms and privacy notice. Optional product research is a separate choice and is not necessary for private safety use.
Support and completed terms
The legal operator's identity, governing terms, version date, app/service availability conditions and mandatory consumer-rights provisions must be reviewed before the final public terms are issued. For questions, email info@r1st.ie.
